To be honest I wasn’t completely sold on first viewing but it has since grown on me. I have always gravitated toward deeper shade of green but I am a fan of this year’s colour. You are soon going to find this colour and other shades of green everywhere over the year. Need some help on how to incorporates this on trend colour into either home staging or styling? If so read on!
If you are just wanting to update you present space you can go a little more wild with the shade but if your home is being prepped for the property market, I would recommend some restraint! As always with home staging for the real estate market, less is always more!
The best way to use this shade in your home staging is in art soft furnishings and accessories. If you aren’t a fan of the exact shade, don’t worry, use another shade of green!
Art is one of the best ways to use on trend colours in home staging or interior styling. Art can transform a dull room into an amazing space by making a focal point in rooms. Art always looks amazing in real estate photos as well! It is a great option if you want to include trends in your home but in a way that is easy to replace with minimal expense.
This shade of green goes amazingly well with blue. Forget about the old saying ‘blue and green should never be seen without a colour in between’, nothing could be further from the truth. Our first favourite find, this art work from Urban Road, is a great example.
Another affordable and easy way to introduce the colour to your home. Mix and match with what you already have to keep the cost minimal. Our second favourite find, the Kalman cushion from Freedom Furniture is a great option!
Again one of the most affordable ways to introduce on trend colours into your home. Don’t think that by only using a little of it here or there won’t make a difference. It absolutely will but in a more subtle way. In my opinion the best accessory for greenery is greenery itself!
Bring in some live plants into your space and place them in planter or cane baskets. Plants like peace lilies and mother in laws tongue are easy to care for but the ubiquités fiddle leaf fig are harder to look after.
